An alternate route description and map for a circuit from The Red Lion Hunningham follow below. This was the walk we originally intended but we changed to the route above to avoid some of the worst of the February mud!
From the Red Lion the walk proceeds across fields to Weston-under-Wetherley then north along Millennium Way past Waverley Wood, through Waverley Close to meet the Coventry Way. Here it turns left to meet a road, turn left along the road, still on Coventry Way. Follow the road to Stareton, after which turn left down a bridleway to the Leicester Road (A445) which is crossed to a footpath leading to the Coventry Road which is also crossed. From the Coventry Road follow a footpath alongside North Cubbington wood to Cubbington and then along the Millennium Way back to Hunningham.
