This walk started from the Bulls Head, Barston, B92-0JU. The walk is approx. 7 miles long
From the Bulls Head walk towards Balsall Street and then follow the Heart of England/Millennium Way to the West Midlands golf club and then back to Barston.
From the Bulls Head public house turn left to the church on the right, here go through the church yard to a path on the left. Follow the path round to the left past a path on the right, however do not take this path. At the end of the field go through a gate and follow the path across the fields, crossing the River Blythe, until Barston Lane is reached then turn right to Balsall Street. Turn left along Balsall Street to a footpath on the left signed as Heart of England Way, follow HoE across several fields to Wootton Grange. Here turn left leaving the HoE Way to Wootton Lane, turn right along the road and then left onto a footpath across fields to Bradnock Marsh Lane, cross the road (Mill Pool Farm) taking the footpath on the right across two fields to Marsh House farm and then turn left along the road to West Midlands Golf Club . Walk around the club house and then along the lake to the end, leave the lake and take a footpath on the left across fields towards Hampton. Keeping left at a fork in the footpath, turn sharp left to take a footpath past Northfield Farm and maintain direction towards Oak Lane, turn right along Oak Lane to Barston Lane. Here turn left on Barston Lane back to the Bulls Head.
