Hampton Walking arranges weekend walks within 15 miles / 30 mins of Hampton-in-Arden and has 2 groups: Hampton Hikers led by Evan Grant with walks of 7-10 miles, and Arden Amblers led by Bob Reid with shorter walks of 4-6 miles. Hikes and Ambles are on alternate weekends and details of the next couple of walks are shown below.

Our next two local walks

A Hike from The King's Head, Wellesbourne

Anna will lead a hike of just under 10 miles from The King's Head, Warwick Road, Wellesbourne CV35 9LX (Google Maps) starting at 9:30am on Sun 26 Jan. There is parking in the pub car park but behind the pub is better (follow the one way system and park near the church). The route is almost all on footpaths but has some minor road walking. Many of the fields along this route have livestock in them so it might be best not to bring dogs.

Anna has booked a table at the King's Head for 1.30pm

Please let Anna know if you would like to join the walk and if you would like to stay on for lunch; contact her directly, in the WhatsApp group or by email to hampton.hikers@outlook.com.
